I stopped in an was pleasantly surprised by the esthetic of the restaurant beautiful lighting, original hardwood floors, cozy tables. I was greeted by my waiter, Dan, who instantly won me over with his warm welcome and engaging manner. At his recommendation I ordered the cheeses and Mac with blackened shrimp. I was not disappointed. In one word.... Incredible! I highly recommend this local restaurant and its cozy food experience. ”

“ Had a great lunch here. The quality of the food, combined with the service by our waiter Adam and the ambience was unmatched. I got the sugar plum cocktail which tasted fantastic. My brother had the quiche and said it was one of the best hes ever had. I got the chicken sandwich, which had a little too much peanut sauce for my taste, but thats more of a personal preference. For dessert, you cant go wrong with the key lime cheesecake. ”

I had the Thai themed salad which had maybe a little more oil on it than needed but chicken tasted great as an add on. The burgers were great per my table mates! Reasonably priced, quick and efficient service. Definitely, check it out and give it some love. ”

“ Had the Dad Bod burger medium cooked with the Skillet Potatoes and some Electra, Moscato. The burger was very good just a bit on the sweet tangy side with the sauce which I wasnt a huge fan of but overall good. I do not recommend the skillet potatoes because of how much oil was on them but that may just be the style. I would come back to try other stuff! ”

Love that this restaurant really promotes farm raised and grass fed. I also really appreciated our waitress Talissa who not only was very friendly but also incredibly helpful with the menu and had wonderful suggestions. The atmosphere was just perfectcozy with light music playing in the background, which made for a really relaxed and enjoyable time together. I was craving the Cheeses Mac, and it did not disappointso creamy and juicy. My boyfriend ordered the Rub It for Luck and wow... the meat was tender and full of flavor, the brussels sprouts were perfectly crisp, and the veggies were roasted just right. Honestly... no words needed! We also ordered the wine Caparone Cabernet.. so smooth and rich, it really elevated the whole experience. A special shoutout to our server, Danhe was such a sweetheart! Friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome the whole time. We were too full for dessert this time, but next visit were definitely saving room. “ Allegory is a cute, cozy, farm to table Cajun restaurant in the heart of downtown Naperville. I walk past it often and always think Id like to eat there some day and Im glad I did today! Our server, Adam, was super knowledgeable about the menu and super kind as well! I enjoyed the shrimp grits which was delicious!! Ive never had grits before but I hope they always taste like that _ I also had the sugar plum sour which was as delicious as it was beautiful. Perfect flavors, not too strong, but definitely had me feeling some type of way. My friend had the mac and cheese with grilled chicken along with a cider, and really enjoyed both of them. ”
